MS Technologies and Bayer CropScience’s Balance GT Soybean to Usher in Next Era of Performance and Weed Control
MS Technologies and Bayer CropScience LLC today announced plans to market a new soybean trait called Balance™ GT (Event FG72) – a dual herbicide tolerant trait stack featuring tolerance to both glyphosate and isoxaflutole. MS Technologies and Bayer CropScience intend to broadly license Balance GT soybeans. Balance GT soybeans will be available in high-yielding genetics in many maturity groups in the US in 2015, pending regulatory approvals.

Joe Merschman, President of MS Technologies, LLC in colloboration with Dow AgroSciences LLC is proud to annonuce the unveiling of the industry's first-ever, three-gene herbicide tolerant soybean. This advanced technology was submitted for U.S. regulatory approval in August 2011 and is anticipated to be launched in 2015 pending U.S. and import country approvals.
